Men on Colorism: A Video Series

Most of the documentaries, films, and videos about colorism focus on the perspectives of women. When they do include male voices, the conversation often centers on their dating choices.

I’ve written about the gender dynamic of colorism and have shared stories written by men.

In this video series, I dig deeper into the minds of men to learn more about the intersections of gender and colorism.

Hear men talk about their personal struggles with their own skin color, about their families, about the history and sociology of colorism, about changing their mindsets as they mature, mentoring other young men, and more.
